Part of the esteemed VKS Group, founded in 1940 in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, Sri Chakra is a pioneer in packaging solutions with a strong legacy of innovation and excellence. We were South India’s first-ever PVC lamination film manufacturer in the 1980s under the brand AG Polymers, and we continue to lead the industry with cutting-edge extrusion technology.

As one of South India’s largest manufacturers and suppliers of PVC films, multilayer films, LDPE shrink films, HDPE films, POF films, and stretch films, we operate four advanced extrusion plants and over eight high-speed pouch-making systems.
Our Packaging Automation Division offers high-speed automatic shrink systems, tunnels, and custom-designed conveyor systems, along with custom-made rolls and pouches tailored for these machines.

Our Founder: Mr. V. Guruswamy Nadar (VKS)

Sri Chakra Group of Companies was founded on the vision of Mr. V. Guruswamy Nadar, fondly known as VKS. He was the founder of VKS Sweets and Biscuits and established VKS Group in the early 1940s, expanding into various FMCG sectors. His entrepreneurial spirit laid the foundation for a legacy of excellence, trust, and innovation.

Expansion into Packaging: Mr. G. Subramaniam & AG Polymers
In the early 1980s, Sri Chakra entered PVC film production under the guidance of Mr. G. Subramaniam, operating under the name AG Polymers. With a commitment to technological advancements, we became the first company in South India to introduce PVC lamination film machines revolutionizing packaging solutions.

Growth Under Mr. Ganesh Aravinth: The Birth of Sri Chakra Group

In the early 2000s, Mr. Ganesh Aravinth expanded his vision by establishing Sri Chakra Traders, laying the foundation for the present Sri Chakra Group. This strategic expansion led to the formation of multiple specialized divisions:

• Sri Chakra Packaging Division, Sivakasi
• Sri Chakra Polypack Division, Sivakasi
• Sri Chakra Polywrap Division, Sivakasi
• Ultimate Packaging Division, Nagpur

Continuing its legacy of growth, Sri Chakra further expanded in 2024 by launching an exclusive PVC production facility in Kappalur, Madurai, reinforcing its commitment to industry leadership and innovation.

AT Sri Chakra Packaging Sivakasi we manufacture high-performance LDPE films for diverse packaging applications, including oil packaging, milk packaging, vacuum packaging, and thermoforming packaging. Manufactured using advanced fully automatic three layerABA extruder machines, our LDPE films meet global market standards, ensuring superior durability, flexibility, and performance.
